My customers ask to have a private, online folder with their stories. I also have media folders, which contain public archives but whose HD files are only available to authorized users. Uploading is super-easy, very automatic and the presentation is perfect. The presentation and download options are very well thought out. I use PWG Stuff for my home page, SmartAlbums, SocialButtons, Community, LocalFileEditor... there are many plugins to choose from, and everyone can create their own ideal gallery. I have over 74,000 HD photos in the gallery. In use, Piwigo makes you forget about it and saves you time.

I have used Piwigo for many years and am very pleased with it. I run numerous websites with various gallery solutions, however Piwigo is by far the best and I use Piwigo on all my important websites. Using Piwigo I can create a web gallery exactly how I want it. In my own case, I want the my photographs to look as good as possible so I have a very simple gallery with large images. I also want the images to be found and that is made easy by the gallery structure and search function.

Just want to add my "props" to the folks at Piwigo for the great product they have put out for their clients. I create a Piwigo photo album for each of the websites I create and walk each client through the "how to's" of Piwigo, which is very user friendly. I have tried other photo albums in the past and have always come back to Piwigo not just because it's free, but because it is honestly... the best!

Having just returned from a wonderful family trip, we needed to find a way to share our photos while making it easy to distribute them to our friends. Being an open source promotor, unwilling to share photos with GAFAMs and having a web hosting, Piwigo was the perfect solution! Modular as you like, easy to use... Needless to say, for the next trip of this type I already know how we'll share the photos :-).
