After using many so called photography specific web hosts over the years, I could never find one with software that worked how I wanted it, always how they wanted it. Then I chanced on Piwigo one day, and created our family website of 4,000 photos. Next I created my own Piwigo website, with my 50 years of photographs in mind. What a joy! Piwigo is the three 'P's - Powerful, a Pleasure to use, and Pleasing to the eye. Thank-you Piwigo Team!

My customers ask to have a private, online folder with their stories. I also have media folders, which contain public archives but whose HD files are only available to authorized users. Uploading is super-easy, very automatic and the presentation is perfect. The presentation and download options are very well thought out. I use PWG Stuff for my home page, SmartAlbums, SocialButtons, Community, LocalFileEditor... there are many plugins to choose from, and everyone can create their own ideal gallery. I have over 74,000 HD photos in the gallery. In use, Piwigo makes you forget about it and saves you time.

I discovered Piwigo quite a few years ago for personal local use. I then installed it at a hosting company where I made the photos I took at local events available to my commune. The French Swimming Federation has a huge collection of photos and videos. In discussion with our photographer, who couldn't find a satisfactory solution and thought it was a shame that this memory wasn't being used for our publications, I suggested that he give Piwigo a try. After a few adjustments and plug-in installations, it turned out to be a stable, customizable and crash-proof solution. Our employees now have a photo library worthy of the name.
