We have been using Piwigo since 2011 and we are fully satisfied with it. Piwigo really meets our needs, especially thanks to the fine management of user permissions, because we are 30 people using the tool. I love photography, I travel and shoot various events and so I have quite a number of photos to manage. Coming from those primitive directory-based PHP scripts, I realized I need more. Albums, tags, geo-tagging, privacy management, virtual albums, user management… And all that self-hosted. And thus, I've invited Piwigo to my life. Piwigo has all the functionality I need and it's under an active development so it's continuously improving. I love Piwigo because it's fairly easy to install and then manage, easy to backup, and it's free-and-open-source software.

Our photo library has been hosted on Piwigo.com since 2013. We feed it regularly, at each photo shoot of our products for the preparation of catalogues and commercial sheets. The use of Piwigo simplifies the hierarchical organization of photos and speeds up our searches thanks to keywords. Remote access allows us to work in a common private space for our 18 offices. Intuitive and efficient, Piwigo has enabled our teams to become more autonomous.
